This error is a software based and requires IT to remote into your computer and change a script setting on your computer that is connected to this machine. Please email email@example.com stating the above 'TRANSACTION APPROVED' error, and the teamviewer ID of the computer.
- Go to the following file location: C:\Program Files (x86)\DPS\Eftpos_scr
- Find the PXSCRCONTROLLER_CFG text file, and open this with notepad.
- Find the <DefaultIdlePromptId> tag.
- Update the tag from 101 to 201: <DefaultIdlePromptId>201</DefaultIdlePromptId>
- Save the notepad.
- Go to services and restart the Payment Express service.
- The idle prompt displaying on the pinpad should update (you may need to give it a minute after restarting the Payment Express services).
